My Learning Experiences in AutoCAD
It was on first grading when we started using AutoCAD, an application where you create or design buildings, cars and different objects. The very first thing that was taught to us was of course, the AutoCAD's parts,we've known first the functions before trying to use it and then after that, we are taught about the use of command line. To that,I learned that command line has a very useful function,it is where you type line, circle, undo and other commands and this command line makes your task in AutoCAD quick and easy. We also tried different activities using AutoCAD and we started in the basic one. First, there were shown rules and steps to create a figure using the command line, we're just going to follow those steps in order to create the specific figure. On the next activities, there were already shown figures, not anymore written steps but there were still guide instructions and we must know how to create those figures on our own. At first,it was not easy, I was too slow in creating the figure, I'm not being able to read the details and instructions there on how to create the figure, because of panic, seeing some of my classmates were already done, they're so fast and me,just one of the turtles, really a bad thing. But on every activity that we've done, I am being practiced, finally learning the lesson.
We have also tried creating figures which that time were already the complicated ones because there were already circles and exterior and interior angles, you got to know that basic Trigonometry. That activity was the activity that most of us haven't finished. I just realized something from that, sometimes you don't need to complicate your mind on calculating for the angles that you need in order to proceed, that's one of the things that made me slow, 'cause sometimes you just need to move your mouse and click until you get the exact dimension, I think that's what others did and I know that's not the best thing to do, but at least the substitute one. In every activity that we're doing in AutoCAD, I am learning different things. Even if I'm having a slow process on creating the figures in different activities that sometimes I don't finish, I'm still getting something from each activity that we are doing and I am being able to used what I learned from the past activities to the next ones.
